How it works
A case moves through five stages. Dorothy follows it through all of them.
Nothing here asks your team to change how they run a service — it just gives the case one home instead of five.
01 · Intake
Open a case the moment a family calls
Take down the name, the next of kin, and whatever you know about the service. Nothing has to be complete to start a case — the record fills in as the arrangement does.
02 · Arrangement
Build out the service
Date, location, officiant, merchandise, and the staff responsible for each piece, all attached to the one case. Reassign a task and everyone with access sees it move.
03 · Coordination
Keep vendors and family in step
Send the obituary for approval, confirm flowers with the florist, and let the family see what's been handled without a phone call.
04 · Service day
Work from one shared task list
Everyone on shift sees the same checklist for the day's services, so nothing falls through between the chapel and the cemetery.
05 · Follow-up
Close the record properly
Final invoicing goes out, paperwork gets filed, and the case stays searchable for as long as your home needs to keep it. When the anniversary comes around, Dorothy reminds you so a message or flowers can go out to the family without digging through old files.
Built to add pieces, not replace them
Dorothy starts with records, tasks, and search. As you’re ready, we connect the parts of a case that used to live outside it.
Communication
Updates to families, confirmations to vendors, and a record of what was sent and when.
Flowers & invoicing
Order flowers and send invoices from inside the case, instead of switching to another system to do it.
